MAS Psychomotor.

Last Friday, I was invited to attend psychomotor test at MAS Simulator Building, Subang. It is my first time attending such test so naturally I was quite excited & nervous. Reached the building an hour earlier before my session on 1230 hrs. There were a lot of pilots there, can see from their tags even they are not wearing uniform. The building looks old but it is HUGE! Wait till you see the simulators, I think there are 3 Simulators inside there.

Everyone who enters the building need to register themselves and wear the tag above. After registering, I headed to Flight Training Center to wait for my session. Then I realized that I was there too early! Could not find anyone from my session. A short moment later, one of the MAS personnel came down and ask us to fill in some forms, I told her that my session is on 1230hrs, she then asked me to join the 1130 hrs session because they are short of one person. After filling up some forms, she lead us to the psychomotor room at lvl 2, on the way there you will walk pass 3 simulators! They look quite small in photos but in actual they are HUGE, almost the size of two small rooms.

After having our height checked, its time for psychomotor test!! It was harder than I expected especially the first and the last test where you need to use a joystick to control. Maybe just maybe I am not used to joysticks, should I start to play more games now? haha. The rest of the test was quite easy especially the colour and shapes. I left the room after 45 minutes and sadly I told that I did not make it. It is a good experience though ! Will blog about the test and tips on my next post, hopefully it will help other candidates.
